At the Consero Energy General Counsel Forum in Irving, TX, I had the chance to meet with some of the brightest legal minds in the energy sector. The event was packed with real, on-the-ground discussions about the challenges we’re all facing and the innovative solutions reshaping how we work. 

I also had the pleasure of co-leading a session with Michael Price, Strategic Sales Director at Evisort, titled “Harnessing AI in Energy Contracts: Navigating Complexities & Ensuring Compliance,” where we shared how AI is helping legal teams streamline contract management and stay ahead of regulatory demands.

One of the interesting takeaways was how various teams—from legal to construction—interact with contract data differently. The need for tools that make this information accessible to everyone involved is clear, and that’s where AI can really shine.

Beyond the technical discussions, there was real excitement around AI’s role in the future of legal operations. We’re not just talking about it anymore—companies are actively embracing AI to drive efficiency and manage compliance more effectively. It’s a shift that’s happening now, not in the distant future.

We wrapped up our session with a live demo of Evisort’s contract intelligence capabilities. Attendees saw firsthand how our AI can quickly extract key compliance information from complex documents, including healthcare certifications, with incredible accuracy. For industries like energy, where regulations are tight and document volume is massive, this kind of speed and precision is a game-changer.
