Emily Flaugher, Senior Director, Payer Engagement, McKesson
(00:02):
Hi, my name is Emily Flaugher. I work for McKesson. I am a Senior Director of Payer Engagement. My particular business within McKesson specifically supports small-chain and medium-sized pharmacies, mom and pop shops. And one of the primary core services that we offer is contracting.

Our processes before Evisort were very, I would say, antiquated. We were in an office environment and doing a lot of things via spreadsheets and emails and physical copies, if you can believe it or not, tracking down throughout, in between meetings, the person I needed to sign a contract. I think, as a leader, having a system that makes it easier for my team, was a huge aha moment because I'm like, "Yes! I can finally remove a barrier."

We've been working in an antiquated process. And really, when we transitioned to work from home with the pandemic, we were in desperate need of a way to track our work, a way, not only for business continuity within our own internal processes, to be able to kind of track what the team was working on, mitigate that risk across the business as folks move in and out of roles, and having the ability to kind of pick up where someone left off was really important internally.

But externally, Evisort really highlighted a way for me to think about how do we differentiate ourselves in the market? How can we use this system to actually have something that is more customer-facing, give it to them at their fingertips within one of our portals? I don't have to stand up another solution that is comparable to it, I can literally use this solution to push out a resource that our customers can use, which will really differentiate us.
